The story

We are in the first half of the 20th century. The legendary magician and escapist, Harry Houdini, sees his retirement near. A grave threat hangs over him. His competitors, eager to learn the secrets of his astonishing feats, have banded together to secure the escapist's desired revelations and are willing to do anything to achieve their goals. Houdini, always ahead of his competitors in wit, has disappeared from the map in order to safeguard his treasured legacy of magic and mystery.
