The story
House of Silence
For months, rumors have been spreading around the city about a lonely old man living on the outskirts. Blind and withdrawn, he rarely leaves his property. Very little is known about him. Apparently, he once served in the military, but for many years he has lived completely cut off from the outside world.
A few days ago, your friend came across a piece of information that caught your attention. The old man supposedly keeps a large amount of cash and valuables inside his house. He doesn't trust banks, never lets strangers in, and keeps everything of value somewhere inside.
To you, it sounds like an opportunity too good to pass up.
The plan is simple.
It's the middle of the night. You're standing right outside his house. Your accomplice is waiting in the car, keeping an eye on the area. He'll stay in contact with you, and if anything goes wrong, he'll try to help.
Your job is to get inside, find the valuables, and make it back to the car.
There's just one problem.
The old man is home.
He can't see you, so if you're careful enough, he might never even realize that someone is robbing him.
But don't underestimate him.
He's a former soldier who, despite losing his sight, knows every corner of his house. What he can't see, he can hear.
So from the moment you cross that threshold, one thing matters more than anything else:
Silence.
Don't let him hear you.
Don't let him catch you.
Get inside, find the valuables, and get the hell out.
Good luck.
