The story

Driven by the dream of discovering the perfect formula for creating gold, you take on the role of the alchemist and inventor Johann Friedrich Böttger. The gold-obsessed Elector of Saxony, Augustus the Strong, declares you a “state prisoner” and demands that you finally produce the long-awaited gold. Will you succeed in completing your mission and uncovering the magical formula, or will you spend the rest of your life trapped in the prison laboratory of Albrechtsburg?
